The Story...

Michael and Brit met way back in the fall of 2007 when a mutual friend (Jordan McDonnell)brought Michael along on a Vegas trip to go to the BYU v. UNLV football game. After the trip Michael couldn't seem to get the royal treatment that he had received at the Taufers' house off of his mind... They had been nice enough to provide Michael with a wet towel and dirty clothes to keep him warm while he slept in a closet in their basement. He also has a vivid recollection of receiving a powerful stiff-arm from Brit during a game of flag football in the park before the BYU game. The trip was a memorable one... Unfortunately Brit came home with no memory of Michael.








It wasn't until the end of August 2008 that Brit and Michael ended up moving into the same apartment complex and the memories came flooding back. Michael spent the first couple of months of their new friendship deciding whether or not he was ready to ask Brit out on a date; in fear of the knowledge that he had that the relationship would progress... Brit, on the other hand, was spending her time oogling at Michael from her kitchen windown and writing in her journal about where she and Michael would most likely take their engagement pictures... If they ever did end up going on a date...

After spending their first couple of months establishing an exciting friendship Brit and Michael went on their first official date to a BYU film festival and dinner at Bajio Mexican Grill. On November 13, 2008 Michael and Brit became an official couple with a kiss on a set of train tracks under a bridge in Spanish Fork. It wasn't long before road trips were planned and their relationship blossomed into one of love.






Michael and Brit got engaged on February 14, 2008 and is excited for their May 16, 2009 wedding in the Las Vegas temple.
